The aim of the Journal of Basic Health (JOBAH) is to publish original research articles, case reports, reviews, editorial memos and letters to the editor of scientific and clinical value in all fields of health.
Clinical and experimental studies, interesting case reports, reviews, invited reviews, letters to the editor, meetings, news and announcements covering all areas of basic health (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Health Sciences, Nursing, Health Services Vocational School and others), It publishes clinical news and summaries of interesting research, differential diagnosis, current issues that set the medical agenda, and especially studies on Public Health and Basic Health Education.
Journal of Basic Health (JOBAH), publishes original scientific research, case reports, reviews and letters. Manuscripts submitted under multiple authorship are reviewed on the assumption that all listed authors concur with the submission and that a copy of the final manuscript has been approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities in the laboratories where the work was carried out. Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that no substantial portion of the study has been published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere. Regular articles should be approximately 20-25 pages doublespaced, including references, with margins of 3 cm. Review articles should be similar in length to a regular article with approximately 50 references.
Manuscript files must be prepared in Word, WordPerfect, EPS, LaTeX, text, Postscript, or RTF format. Figures/Images should be embedded in the manuscript file or sent as external files in TIFF, JPG, BMP, Postscript, or EPS format. Journal of Basic Health (JOBAH), is in compliance with the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals created by International Committee for Medical Editors.

Pages should be numbered consecutively and organized as follows: (1) two structured abstracts (English) of not more than 250 words each must be included.
b. Manuscripts (including footnotes, references, figure legends, and tables) should be prepared with the following attributes: 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced typed, 3 cm ample margins, sequential line numbering, and A4 page size. Page numbers should also be written on the top-middle of each page except the first page.
c. The abstracts should be divided into the following sections: Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusion, (2) Keywords (3-6 keywords, in English should be taken from Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) from Index Medicus), (3) Introduction, (4) Materials and Methods, (5) Results, (6) Discussion and (7) References. b. Introduction. State why the investigation was carried out, note any relevant published work, and delineate the objective of the investigation. c. Methods. New methods or significant improvements of methods or changes in old methods must be described. Details regarding animal housing conditions should be given. All clinical studies must contain:
1) a statement that all experimental protocols have been approved by the Ethical Committee of the Institution prior to the commencement of the studies, 2) a statement that all participants gave informed consent. d. Results. Duplication between the text of this section and material presented in tables and figures should be avoided. Tabular presentation of masses of negative data must be avoided and replaced with a statement in the text whenever possible. The results must be presented clearly, concisely and without comment. e. Discussion. This section must relate the significance of the work to existing knowledge in the field and indicate the importance of the contribution of this study. Unsupported hypotheses and speculation should be omitted.
f. References. The style of references is that of the Index Medicus. List all authors when there are six or fewer, when there are seven or more list the first three, then add “et al.”. Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
Ethical standards for publication exist to ensure high-quality scientific publications, public trust in scientific findings, and that people receive credit for their ideas.
plagiarism
All journals published by YTU-E Journals are committed to publishing only original material, i.e., material that has neither been published elsewhere, nor is under review elsewhere. Manuscripts that are found to have been plagiarized from a manuscript by other authors, whether published or unpublished, will incur plagiarism sanctions. Also, the manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using Ithenticate which is subscribed by Journal of Basic Health (JOBAH),
Duplicate Submission
Manuscripts that are found to have been published elsewhere, or to be under review elsewhere, will incur duplicate submission/publication sanctions. If authors have used their own previously published work, or work that is currently under review, as the basis for a submitted manuscript, they are required to cite the previous work and indicate how their submitted manuscript offers novel contributions beyond those of the previous work.
Citation Manipulation
Submitted manuscripts that are found to include citations whose primary purpose is to increase the number of citations to a given author's work, or to articles published in a particular journal, will incur citation manipulation.
Data Fabrication and Falsification
Submitted manuscripts that are found to have either fabricated or falsified experimental results, including the manipulation of images, will incur data fabrication and falsification sanctions.
Improper Author Contribution or Attribution
All listed authors must have made a significant scientific contribution to the research in the manuscript and approved all its claims. It is important to list everyone who made a significant scientific contribution, including students and laboratory technicians.
Redundant Publications
Redundant publications involve the inappropriate division of study outcomes into several articles.
Sanctions
In the event that there are documented violations of any of the above mentioned policies in any journal, regardless of whether or not the violations occurred in a journal published by Journal of Basic Health (JOBAH), the following sanctions will be applied:
A)Immediate rejection of the infringing manuscript.
B)Immediate rejection of every other manuscript submitted to any journal published by Journal of Basic Health (JOBAH), by any of the authors of the infringing manuscript.
C)Prohibition against all of the authors for any new submissions to any journal published by Journal of Basic Health (JOBAH), either individually or in combination with other authors of the infringing manuscript, as well as in combination with any other authors. This prohibition will be imposed for a minimum of 36 months.
D)Prohibition against all of the authors from serving on the Editorial Board of any journal published by Journal of Basic Health (JOBAH),
In cases where the violations of the above policies are found to be particularly egregious, the publisher reserves the right to impose additional sanctions beyond those described above.
